Huawei Philippines is set to introduce the Huawei Mate 50 Pro on November 18 to mark the 10th anniversary of the launch of its first Mate smartphones.

The Pro variant is rumored to use an elegant step-patterned embossing design that showcases a new kind of ordered beauty that’s crafted to the last detail. This is coupled with independent cameras to reduce the bulging effect of the lenses.
To free up space, the company streamlined the camera module with refined processes without compromising image quality. This time, the camera engineers are said to have taken inspiration from the adjustable aperture design in SLR (single-lens reflex) cameras to bring advanced optical designs to smartphones.
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro is said to be the first to feature a primary camera with a 10-size adjustable aperture lens resulting in an enhanced mobile imaging optical system. It features Auto Mode that uses AI and a wide aperture to help in photos taken in dim environments or at night. Additionally, you can manually adjust the aperture between 10 different sizes to set the depth of field and bokeh in Professional Mode.
The device is also rumored to have a special glass incorporated in its design to help address the after-sales maintenance woes related to cracked or broken screens.
The Huawei engineers are said to have taken inspiration from the durability of reinforced concrete structures and applied it to the scenarios of mobile phone usage. It is speculated to consist of 10 quadrillion-level nanocrystals that greatly improve the durability of glass.
