Xiaomi is set to release MIUI 14 this month and but the changelog details have been leaked ahead of the launch date. The Xiaomi 13 was supposed to come too but it was moved recently.
MIUI 14 details
The latest OS will feature a better system architecture that has pre-installed apps that takes less space and also consumes less power resulting in better performance overall.
You will also be given more personalization options sporting an all-new widget format, home screen folders, and “Super Icons” alongside an overhauled privacy system that ensures no user data is saved on the cloud.
Moreover. the MI AI voice assistant will feature more capabilities like document scanning, translations, and a call assistant with a spam call filter. It will also have an overhauled pairing and connection stability with other Xiaomi devices.
MIUI 14 will also feature an improved search function in the settings that has the search history and results categorized and will come with support for more wireless card readers and connection speed boost by using mobile data when the Wi-Fi signal is weak.
