Xiaomi has just introduced the Xiaomi Watch S2 in China. The announcement was made during a massive launch event from the company that included the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series, Buds 4, MIUI 14, and more.
The Watch S2 comes in 42mm and 46mm circular designs with oblong physical buttons on the right side and AMOLED panels. The former has a 1.32-inch display, while the latter has a 1.43-inch display. Both sizes share a 466×466 resolution and a stainless steel metal frame with sapphire glass for protection.
The new wearable is equipped with a heart rate and SpO2 sensor. In addition, it tracks sleep, stress, and women’s menstrual cycle as well as can measure skin temperature.
It boasts a body composition measurement capable of measuring fat percentage, protein volume, skeletal muscle mass, and more. You’ll have to place two fingers on the side button in order to help you track these.
Xiaomi Watch S2 also has breathing exercises and supports more than 100 sports modes. The larger 46mm variant features a 500mAh battery that is said to last up to 12 days, while its smaller 42mm sibling has a smaller 305mAh battery and is rated to offer up to 7 days of use.
Other features include a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calling, safety tracking, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 is priced at:
- 42mm Black standard – CNY 999 (around PHP 8,000)
- 42mm Light Gold leather – CNY 1,199 (around PHP 9,600)
- 46mm Black standard – CNY 1,099 (around PHP 8,800)
- 46mm Blue leather – CNY 1,299 (around PHP 10,400)
It is now available for purchase in China. Although it is uncertain if it will make it to the international market as of writing this article.
