ASUS unveiled its latest offerings of monitors and displays for professional content creation, hybrid work, and entertainment at CES 2023. Additionally, the company also introduced its latest ROG gaming monitors at the same event.
Among the monitors that were showcased at the Consumer Electronics Summit 2023 include the portable ZenScreen MB16QHG and MB17AHG, the ProArt OLED PA32DCM, and the ZenBeam L2 projector.
ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM
The ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor with a pure RGB Stripe OLED panel. The monitor has a max brightness of 700 and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It has true 10-bit color depth and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio for detailed HDR content. Additionally, the monitor supports multiple HDR formats including HDR10 and HLG.
To ensure the most accurate colors, it is calibrated to Delta E < 1 color difference and ASUS ProArt Hardware Calibration technology. It also works seamlessly with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software. You can also use the centralized online tool – ProArt Color Center to ensure that colors are consistent across the board.
As far as ports go, the ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM offers a Thunderbolt 4 port with 90W PD, HDMI, and a USB hub.
ProArt Display PA279CRV
The ProArt Display PA279CRV, on the other hand, is 27-inch 4K UHD IPS monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio and wide 178° viewing angles. It is Calman Verified and factory-calibrated to Delta E < 2 color accuracy. Moreover, it features 99% DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB color gamut.
The monitor is targeting VESA DisplayHDR 400 and MediaSync, including DisplayPort 1.4, DisplayPort with daisy-chain capability, HDMI 2.0, USB hub, and earphone jack.
The monitor itself is 30% thinner with a base that’s 33% smaller making it easy to fit in with even smaller workstations.
In addition, the series also includes the 24-inch PA248CRV and 32-inch PA329CRV.
ASUS ZenScreen MB16QHG
The ASUS ZenScreen MB16QHG is a 16-inch 2560×1600 resolution (16:10) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a narrow-bezel design with a foldable L-shaped stand to securely hold the display up at different angles for comfortable viewing positions.
It also has an auto-rotation feature in the ASUS DisplayWidget Center. Additionally, it has a ¼-inch socket that allows you to place the monitor on a tripod.
For connectivity, the ZenScreen MB16QHG offers a full-function USB-C, HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The USB-C ports can be found on either side of the monitor.
The High Dynamic Range technology with 100% DCI-P3 gamut with the display-targeting DisplayHDR 400 standard compliance.
ASUS ZenScreen MB17AHG
The ASUS ZenScreen MB17AHG is a 17.3-inch FHD IPS portable display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Free Sync Premium technology. It has a narrow-bezel design with a foldable L-shaped stand and a 1/4-inch socket to place on a tripod.
It provides rich connectivity options that include a full-function USB-C, HDMI, and earphone jack.
ASUS ZenScreen MB249C
The ASUS ZenScreen MB249C is a 23.8-inch FHD IPS portable monitor with a frameless design. It has an ultraslim 17.7mm profile and weighs 2.8kg.
It has an integrated carrying handle that doubles as a kickstand so you can securely prop up the display. Like the other ZenScreen monitors, it has a 1/4-inch socket.
Meanwhile, as far as ports go, it has a full-function USB-C, HDMI, and earphone jack.
ASUS BE24ECSBT
The ASUS BE24ECSBT is a 23.8-inch FHD frameless IPS monitor with a 10-point multitouch panel. The monitor offers a variety of ports including HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort with daisy chain capability, an earphone jack, and USB hub.
The BE24ECSBT meets the ENERGY STAR, TCO, and EPEAT Silver environmental certification standards.
ASUS ZenBeam L2
Lastly, the ASUS ZenBeam L2 is a portable projector for indoor and outdoor entertainment. It features 600 LED lumens output with FHD native resolution with bright, projected images. Its short-throw lens is able to project a 40-inch image from a distance of 1 meter and up to a 120-inch image from 3 meters.
Three-second Auto Focus plus keystone with four-corner correction ensures perfect projected images, every time.
The projector features the ASUS Light Wall feature that allows you to select 26 different cinemographs to vary the ambiance of any room. It includes Android TV and HDMI, USB-C ports (one with DP Alt mode and one for charging), USB Type-A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, it has a 10W Harman Kardon speaker with Movie, Gaming, Music, and Outdoor modes. The projector has a built-in battery that provides up to 3 hours of video projection.
