ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has just unveiled its latest gaming monitors including the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, ROG Swift Pro PG248QP, and ROG Strix XG49WCR, to name a few. These were introduced alongside the company’s latest peripherals, productivity monitors, and routers.

The Swift PG27AQDM is the company’s first 1440p OLED gaming monitor, while the Swift Pro PG248QP is the world’s first 540Hz gaming monitor.

ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM – The Endgame 1440p OLED Gaming Monitor

The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is a 27-inch OLED monitor with a WQHD (2560×1440) resolution and an anti-glare micro-texture coating. The monitor also features a 0.03ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate for superfast frame rates.

To help ensure OLED longevity the monitor has a custom heatsink to improve cooling. Additionally, it has improved internal airflow with larger air vents for better heat dissipation.

Intelligent voltage optimization ensures consistent luminance for each pixel by controlling the amount of voltage applied to it. A smart algorithm is coded for the panel and optimizes voltage based on temperature changes to ensure consistent brightness across the panel.

The new DisplayWidget Center software allows you to tinker with OLED-related functions and systems settings without having to fiddle with the OSD.

The monitor has a peak brightness of 1000 nits, covers 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut, and has Delta E < 2 color accuracy.

ROG Swift Pro PG248QP

The ROG Swift Pro PG248QP is a 24.1-inch FHD gaming monitor designed for pro gamers with its 540Hz refresh rate (OC). It sports a unique look and features an ergonomic stand with retractable ‘claws’ for a smaller base, to free up desktop space.

The monitor also has a built-in NVIDIA G-SYNC processor with NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer to capture end-to-end system latency so you get to know how your system is performing. Additionally, it has a built-in ESS USB codec for near-zero audio latency. For more immersion, it features surround sound as well as in-game gunshot and footstep enhancements.

ROG Swift XG49WCR

The ROG Strix XG49WCR is an ultra-wide 49-inch monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio with a 5120×1440 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It has a 1800R curve for perfect immersion.

It includes a Smart KVM switch that allows you to use a keyboard and mouse to easily switch between two devices connected to the monitor. The Strix XG49WCR features HDR technology, 125% sRGB professional gamut, and Delta E < 2. It targets DisplayHDR 400 compliance.

It has a built-in FreeSync Premium technology to deliver seamless, tear-free gaming experiences by enabling VRR (variable refresh rate) by default.

The Strix XG49WCR offers a wide variety of connectivity with a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, USB-C with 65W PD, USB hub, and Ethernet port. It also has an RJ45 port that allows you to use the monitor as a dock for a laptop.

ROG Swift PG32UQXR – The first ROG DisplayPort 2.1 Gaming Monitor

The ROG Swift PG32UQXR is a 32-inch 4K mini LED gaming monitor with a 160Hz refresh rate. The monitor has Display 2.1 connectivity that enables 4K 160Hz visuals without compression.

Meanwhile, Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) backlighting delivers 576 independent LED zones and 1000 nits peak brightness while targeting DisplayHDR 1000 compliance. The quantum dot panel offers above 95% DCI-P3 for realistic colors and smoother gradation.

The monitor is factory pre-calibrated to Delta E < 2 color difference and offers an HDMI 2.1 and USB hub alongside the DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.

TUF Gaming VG32UQA1A

The TUF Gaming VG32UQA1A is a 31.5-inch 4K (3840×2160) monitor with a 160Hz refresh rate (OC). It boasts a 1ms Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT) for sharp visuals at high frame rates. Meanwhile, the built-in FreeSync Premium technology offers a seamless, tear-free experience via VRR.

ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur technology eliminates ghosting and tearing and HDR technology with a 99% sRGB gamut. The monitor targets DisplayHDR 400 compliance.

For connectivity, it has a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub.

TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A

Lastly, the TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A is a 27-inch QHD (2560×1440) Fast IPS gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. It uses ASUS Fast IPS technology to deliver a 1ms response time (GTG). Additionally, the monitor features FreeSync Premium technology, ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync, and a 99% sRGB gamut.

It has a 1/4-inch tripod socket on the top of the monitor stand to easily mount a camera or an additional display. For ports, it offers a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB hub.
