GIGABYTE unveiled its GIGABYTE B760 motherboard offerings at CES 2023. The new motherboards come with enhanced XMP and can achieve Z790-like memory performance of DDR5-7600.
The new motherboards provide premium power and thermal design for the high-frequency operation of 13th-generation Intel Core processors. Additionally, the PCIe and M.2 EZ-Latch technology simplify the process of upgrading graphics and M.2 SSDs.
Moreover, they feature 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6E, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C with 20 Gbps, and up to 3 sets of PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots on selected models offer good connectivity.
GIGABYTE B760 Motherboards Highlights
The GIGABYTE B760 AORUS motherboards are geared up to 16+1+1 power phases with 60 amps DrMOS design. Meanwhile, the B760 AORUS ELITE features 12+1+1 power phases and the B760M AORUS PRO has a 14+1+1 power phase design.
The GIGABYTE B760 AORUS MASTER/PRO/ELITE/GAMING X offerings cover from ATX to mATX models and boast improved thermal design for enhanced stability. These feature a full-coverage heatsink, 5W/mK thermal pad, and 2x copper PCB.
Intel’s B760 chipset offers RAM support on both DDR4 and DDR5, like the Z790 chipset. The GIGABYTE B760 DDR5 motherboards have server-level 6 layers low-loss PCB and the new generation Shielded Memory Routing. Additionally, the trace width and length of the DDR5 memory layout is optimized by simulation from HCM and is shielded under PCB inner layer from external interference.
The multiple BIOS settings of Lower Latency, High Bandwidth further unleash the optimum XMP and EXPO memory performance.
The company has worked closely with memory vendors to ensure superior memory compatibility. Some of these include ADATA, AORUS, CORSAIR, CRUCIAL, G.SKILL, KINGMAX, Kingston, Kingston FURY, PATRIOT, PNY, Samsung, Thermaltake, and Transcend, to name a few.
GIGABYTE B760 AORUS and Gaming X ATX motherboards boast 3 sets of PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 up to 25110 form factor with at least one M.2 heatsink, and enlarged heatsink on selected models. When running the latest PCIe 4.0 SSDs, the design can offer up to 7000mB/s without throttling. The M.2 EZ-Latch Plus technology replaces the existing M.2 SSD screws by auto-locking latches.
The PCIe x16 slots are also reinforced with tensile strength and robust design to increase the resistance to up to 2.2 times for a more solid installation.
The B760 AORUS and GAMING series are equipped with 2.5Gb Ethernet and WiFi 6E 802.11ax network on the Wi-Fi models. The AORUS B760 micro-ATX motherboards, on the other hand, offer full connectivity of USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Tpye-C and front USB 3.2 Gen 2 Tpye-C for faster expansion.
The GIGABYTE B760 motherboards are now available in the market. With the GIGABYTE Z790 motherboards, the company offers a comprehensive Intel 700 lineup for you with different demands and budgets.
