OnePlus has just teased the introduction of the OnePlus Ace 2 in China on February 7. This is a separate event from the already massive event set to take place in India where the OnePlus 11 and 11R, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Pad, and more will be unveiled for the global market.
OnePlus Ace 2
The OnePlus Ace 2 is expected to be the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 11R with a few minor adjustments. This comes as no surprise as the company also offered the OnePlus 10R in China as the OnePlus Ace.
The Ace 2 and 11R will share the same design, including the camera module. Additionally, they are confirmed to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The major difference between the two devices is that the Ace 2 will run on ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Meanwhile, the 11R will run on OxygenOS 13.
