Following the recent leaks of the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+, now it’s the turn of the Galaxy S23 Ultra after leaks of what seems to be official documents from Samsung France surfaced.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Leaked Specs
The Galaxy S23 Ultra, based on the leaks, will debut with the new 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor. It carries over the same ultrawide, 3x telephoto, and 10x telephoto lenses as its predecessor. Although, it’s worth mentioning that company CEO Dr. TM Roh said in a recent blog that they have worked on improving the processing and software.
The S23 Ultra, at least the French/European variant, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM. It’s pretty unusual to see LPDDR5 instead of the newer LPDDR5X.
Additionally, it is built around a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED with 1440p resolution. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 which is said to be even more durable than the Victus+ on the S22 Ultra.
The S23 Ultra is also listed to share the same 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging as its predecessor. Out of the box, it is said to run on Android 13 and One UI 5.1.
Samsung will be holding its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1 (February 2, 1 AM, Philippine Time) where the Galaxy S23 series is expected to debut.
