Samsung Reveals a 2,000 Nit OLED Display for Smartphones during CES 2023

Samsung showcased a 2000-nit OLED panel during CES 2023. The UDR or Ultra Dynamic Range 2,000 luminance mark is certified by UL Solutions and serves as proof of the company’s level of mobile display tech.

The Korean brand’s display boasts a UDR 1,500 nits luminance rating for its latest panel. The company claims that the new UDR panel shows more realistic and rich colors that will stand out especially outdoors.

For now, we can only wait for the first device that will sport this UDR display and the Galaxy S23 is currently the best candidate.
