vivo introduced the vivo X90 series in China last November and it is expected to debut globally on January 31. While the company hasn’t confirmed this yet, vivo Malaysia teased that the new X-series is launching in Malaysia soon.
vivo X90 Series
The vivo X90 series, at least in China, included the vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. However, there are speculations that it will only be the vanilla X90 and X90 Pro that will be introduced in the Southeast Asian country.
The company didn’t officially mention this but the event page only shows two devices. On the other hand, a teaser on the company’s social media accounts showcases what looks like a periscope telephoto camera which is only available on the X90 Pro+.
Out of the three members of the vivo X90 series though, the X90 Pro+ is the most exciting member with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 50MP camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, and a 6.78-inch 1440p LTPO4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Could this be the start of the global release cycle? We’ll just have to wait for official dates and further announcements from vivo.
