ZTE is set to return to the Philippine smartphone market with a launch this February, and while not much has been shared about the launch, posts on its social media page suggest that one of the devices set for debut is the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has a 6.67-inch AMOLED waterfall display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 1500 nits of peak brightness. Under its shell is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 bolstered with liquid cooling, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For optics, it’s got a 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor with OIS, a 64MP wide-angle unit, a 64MP periscope camera also with OIS and can deliver up to 5.7x optical zoom, and a 16MP front snapper.
ZTE Axon 40 Ultra runs MyOS 12 on top of Android 12 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast-charging. Price wise, the device retails at USD 799 and USD 899 for the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models, respectively.
It remains to be seen whether there are other devices to be launched. But we’ll keep you posted.
