The MWC 2023 event, which begins later this month in Barcelona, will feature MediaTek’s plethora of new technologies and advancements.
MediaTek at MWC 2023
The company will present new chips and next-generation technology at the important conference. So, these are the things to anticipate:
New MediaTek Dimensity Series –
The Dimensity family of 5G-capable mobile chips will probably be one of the highlights of the many new announcements.
These chips will power upcoming smartphones and tablets and provide improvements over their forerunners in a number of areas. Improvements in networking, multimedia, image processing, AI, and other areas are expected to be part of this.
The Dimensity 9200 SoC, a new high-end chipset from the manufacturer, will be used in flagship-level smartphones at MWC 2023. At the MWC presentation, MediaTek will additionally introduce the new Dimensity 7000 series.
This would supply more reasonably priced mid-range devices, and the Dimensity 7200 SoC would be available. The company will also unveil the new Helio G36 SoC for mass-market gaming phones in addition to new Dimensity processors.
Connectivity & Home Products –
The manufacturer will also present new Filogic chips for enhanced connectivity on products including mesh routers, smart TVs, streaming devices, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and more, among other new chip announcements.
The company will also showcase a new line of products at MWC that support Wi-Fi 7 standards as well as the more dated but still functional 6E and 6 standards.
New high-end, mid-range, and low-cost chipsets that power various smart home products and IoT devices will also be part of the new Genio platform.
This covers products like smart TVs and home appliances. The Kompanio chipsets, meanwhile, will provide Chromebooks at various price points with strong performance and long battery life.
Other Technologies –
Moreover, MediaTek will demonstrate its 5G mmWave beam technology, which was created in cooperation with Ericsson.
Together with the new announcements, Keysight will also be releasing 5G UltraSave for mmWave network emulation solutions. This innovative technology enhances the design of the hardware and software to increase battery life on 5G networking-capable devices.
New technologies will also be present during the Barcelona exhibition, which starts from February 27 to March 2.
