Microsoft has just unveiled the new AI-powered Microsoft Bing and Edge which will now give you summarized answers to your specific searches and more. Bing is the company’s search engine, while Edge is its browser.
The new AI-powered services will tap into OpenAI’s infrastructure which the company invested USD 10 billion recently. The new model is said to be faster, more accurate, and more capable than ChatGPT.

Bing will still have its classic search results page but it will also give better results for basic questions. Additionally, you can ask Bing to do things like plan your trip, write poems, rewrite code to a different programming language, and more.
Microsoft has also added a new AI chat feature for you to type out long or short questions and then receive answers. From there, you can further refine your question until you get the answer you’re looking for.
Meanwhile, Edge will come with OpenAI, a new look, and two new functionalities – chat and compose. You can do things like ask for a summary of a financial report for key takeaways and use the chat function to ask for a comparison, all via the Edge Sidebar.
Additionally, you can also ask the AI to help you update the tone, format, and length of the post while knowing which page you’re on.
Microsoft has clarified that the new AI-powered Bing and Edge are still in testing but the company aims to release them for general use in the coming weeks along with a mobile version.
