OnePlus redefines industry standards with new active cooling technology dubbed Active CryoFlux featured in the OnePlus 11 Concept phone. The concept device was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
At the event, the company also introduced the OnePlus 11 5G with the latest co-developing technology with Qualcomm and Perfect World Games with built-in AR and ray tracing capability.
“Ten years ago, we entered the industry to create products we actually wanted to use. Along the way, we grew together with our community and fans—striving to do better each day, aspiring to push the boundaries for each product. The overwhelming positive response from users is reflected in our 173% increment in sales volume of OnePlus 11 5G, and a testament we have been on the right path for excellence in creating a fast and smooth experience possible. That’s driven us to innovate on high performance and also continue to work with industry leading partners to bring the technology to life.”

Disrupting the Future with Active Cryoflux on the OnePlus 11 Concept
The main feature of the OnePlus 11 Concept phone is Active CryoFlux. It is said to reduce temperature up to 2.1°C, which improves the frame rate by 3-4 fps during gameplay. It can also bring the temperature down when charging by 1.6°, shaving off 30s-45s from the charging time.
OnePlus miniaturized the industry-grade cooling capability of gaming PCs into a smartphone. The Active CryoFlux functions with ceramic piezoelectric micropumps at the center, connected to pipelines in between an upper and lower diaphragm.
The OnePlus 11 Concept is designed to showcase the possibility of Active CryoFlux in terms of aesthetics. It has a futuristic aesthetic with its glass unibody along with a clear rear cover that gives you a view of the micro-liquid flowing through the pipelines. This is completed with a magnetron-sputtering coating where metal and alloy are deposited in tiny amounts onto the case via an electric field.
The OnePlus 11 Concept also runs the Active CryoFlux liquid through the camera in a halo. The lens area is surrounded by Guilloché etching, a very precise decorative technique. The process is used in the design of several luxury timepieces.
Elevating the Entertainment Experience with Ray Tracing Technology and Snapdragon Space XR Platform
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 11 5G is supported by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. To better help audiences to experience in-game ray tracing technology, OnePlus partnered with Perfect World Games to showcase ray tracing in the Tower of Fantasy gameplay on the OnePlus 11 5G.
The OnePlus 11 5G is the first Snapdragon Spaces-ready phone and serves as an entry point for the Snapdragon Spaces XR developer program. It allows developers to bring their XR ideas to life, explore the potential of head-worn AR, and more.
Along with the OnePlus 11 Concept, the company showcases the OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Pad, and OnePLus 45W Liquid Cooler at the event.
