Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young previously claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will feature an outer panel that’s larger than 3”. This is corroborated by leakster Ice Universe who mentions that it will indeed be larger than the cover panel on the OPPO Find N2 Flip which measures 3.26 inches.

In addition to a larger outer panel, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, according to Young, will have a different hinge to make the seam less visible.
The Galaxy Z Flip4, in comparison, retained its predecessor’s 1.9-inch Super AMOLED outer panel which is drastically smaller than other clamshell foldables available today.
If the report on the Galaxy Z Flip5 is true, this is a drastic improvement in the cover display, especially with a Super AMOLED panel instead of the OLED used in the Find N2 Flip and Motorola Razr 2022.
As of writing this, Samsung has yet to even mention the device. But we don’t expect this to be the last leak on the device.
