The AirPods Pro 2 USB-C version will soon be introduced according to renowned analyst Ming Chi-Kuo with bulk shipments planned between Q2 and Q3 this year.
As a reminder, the Pro 2 debuted with a Lightning connector last year.

Apple just released the iOS 16.4 release candidate for developers, which includes mentions of new AirPods with model code A3048 and a new AirPods case with model number A2968.
Kuo did not reveal anything else regarding the Pro 2’s USB-C version, and it’s unclear whether these will simply be the Pro 2 with a USB-C charging case or whether there will be any other hardware changes.
Additionally, according to Kuo, Apple has no plans for USB-C versions of the AirPods 2 and 3, implying that the Pro 2 will be the first TWS headphones from Apple to move from Lightning to USB-C.
