Google has just rolled out its Magic Eraser feature to all Pixel devices and all Google One subscribers, including those on iPhone and iPads.
Google Magic Eraser
Magic Eraser initially debuted with the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in 2021, then brought to the Pixel 6a and later to the Pixel 7 series. In case you didn’t know, it removes distractions from your photos automatically. It can be done manually by circling the object you want to be removed from your photos or identified by Google Photos.
As far as Pixel devices go, the feature was spotted by 9to5Google on a Pixel 2 XL device running on Android 11 and on the Pixel 4a with Google Photos version 6.25. Google has also revealed that it will be available from the original Pixel in 2016 to the Pixel 5a. This is pretty nifty especially since there are older Pixel devices that no longer get monthly security updates.
For non-Pixel users, Magic Eraser will be available on users with a Google One subscription with the Google Photos 6.25 version. Yup, this includes those with a subscription using iPhones or iPads.
The addition to the Google One subscription gives more incentive to subscribe even to the lowest USD 1.99 plan. Among the other Google Photos you’ll get to enjoy include HDR, Portrait light, Blur, Sky filters, and Color focus.

That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
