Huawei had a big launch event recently wherein it unveiled the Huawei P60 series, Mate X3, FreeBuds 5, Enjoy 60, and MatePad 11 2023. At the same event, the company introduced the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ which now sits above the FreeBuds Pro 2.
For the most part, the two variants are identical this includes 11mm dynamic drivers, touch controls, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, ANC, a 55mAh battery on each earbud, and a 580mAh battery on the charging case. However, the Pro 2+ features sensors for heart rate and temperature tracking.
The company claims that this is the industry’s first infrared and green light dual-type heart rate monitor that is said to offer even better precision.
The sensors added a bit more weight for the Pro 2+ which now weighs 6.3g compared to the 6.1g on the existing Pro 2.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ Pricing and Availability
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ is priced at CNY 1,499 (around PHP 11,800). It is available for pre-order in China with official sales starting on April 9. Additionally, its global availability will be announced on the same day it will officially hit the shelves.
