The first smartphone featuring an entry-level Dimensity 6020 CPU made its debut today with the launch of the iQOO Z7i.

The 7nm-processed Mediatek Dimensity 6020 is intended to power entry-level 5G smartphones in the future. The chipset contains a Mali-G57 GPU and an octa-core CPU with two large Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 units at 2 GHz.
The new processor supports up to 64MP cameras on its ISP and LPDDR4X Memory and UFS 2.2 storage. It is compatible with FullHD+ screens with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The iQOO Z7i has a 6.51″ LCD with 720p resolution. RAM is available in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB configurations, and storage can be expanded to 128GB via microSD cards.
The phone also comes with a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro camera is on the back while a 5MP selfie camera is located inside the waterdrop notch.
The phone runs OriginOS Ocean on top of Android 13. The battery has a 5,000 mAh capacity and 15W charging speeds.
The Z7i comes in two colorways – Moon Shadow Black and Ice Lake Blue. The 4 + 128GB variant is priced at CNY 949 (around PHP 7,600), the 6 + 128GB is CNY 999 (around PHP 8,000), and the 8 + 128 GB costs CNY 1,099 (around PHP 8,800).
Sales will start on March 20, as soon as the rest of the Z7 lineup has been officially introduced.
