realme CEO Madhav Sheth has just teased on Twitter the arrival of the company’s first foldable device.
realme Flip or realme Fold?
In his tweet, he asked whether fans want a realme Flip or realme Fold as the next product. This hints at either a clamshell foldable or a more ‘traditional’ tablet-sized foldable.
It seems like the names aren’t quite final yet but just a means to tease the company’s first foldable phone.
realme China Vice President Xu Qi revealed in November 2022 the company’s plans. Among these include two GT Neo phones, two number series phones, one GT series phone each year, and an affordable foldable phone.
This year, we’ve already seen the GT Neo5 in China with its 150W and 240W charging variants, the GT3 globally with 240W fast charging as well as the realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+. Well, technically, the realme 10 Pro series was launched in December in China and globally and recently in the Philippines. Maybe we’ll get to see realme 11 series devices later this year.
Either way, it seems like the foldable is all we lack. The company has yet to reveal anything officially but we’re assuming that it is already in the works with the company CEO comfortably teasing the realme Flip… or Fold.
