ROG Gaming Laptops that were shown last CES 2023 finally land on Philippine shores as ASUS Philippines launches its Intel 13th Gen ROG gaming laptops. These new gaming laptops come equipped with the latest Intel 13th-Gen mobile core processors with the Intel Core i9-13980HX being the highest variant available for the new ROG laptops. These new laptops also come with the latest Nvidia RTX 40 series mobile GPUs with TGPs up to 175W.
ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18 2023
ASUS adds a huge laptop to its gaming portfolio with the ROG Strix Scar 18. The 18-inch gaming laptop boasts an Intel Core i9-13980HX with a rated TDP of up to 65W, 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory, and a 2TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD. The ASUS ROG Strix 18 has an RTX 4090 laptop GPU with max TDP of 175W and has support for MUX Switch & Nvidia Advanced Optimus. The ROG Strix Scar 18 is priced at Php 294,995
ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU604
The ROG Zephyrus M16 gets the AniMe Matrix treatment making it ASUS’ first Intel laptop to sport the AniMe Matrix design. The ASUS Zephyrus M16 is powered by an Intel Core i9-13900H and an RTX 4090 with 145W TGP and MUX switch support. It also an ROG Nebula HDR display with a 16:10 QHD 240Hz 3ms display rated at 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. The ROG Zephyrus M16 starts at Php 169,995 for the Intel Core i9-13900H and RTX 4070 configuration while the RTX 4090 GPU model is priced at Php 339,995
ASUS ROG Strix G16 G614
The ROG Strix G16 sports toned-down specs with up to an Intel Core i7-13650HX with the same 65W TDP and up to a GeForce RTX 4060 with a rated TDP of 140W. The ROG Strix G16 also supports MUX Switch and Nvidia Advanced Optimus.
ASUS ROG Strix G18 G814
The ROG Strix G18 is the second 18-inch gaming laptop from the brand but is only half the price at Php 149,995 as it’s packed with more reasonable specs. The Strix G18 can be configured with up to an Intel Core i9-13980HX and an RTX 4070 laptop GPU. Memory is only limited to 16GB DDR5 unlike the Scar G18 and Zephyrus M16’s 32GB and 64GB memory capacity.
