Apple has just released its latest major update for iOS and iPadOS. Additionally, the company rolled out watchOS 9.4. While it isn’t as big an update as the iOS and iPadOS, it’s still a good quality-of-life update for Apple Watch users.

The watchOS update now doesn’t let you mute the alarm clock by covering the display of the Apple Watch with one hand. This previously caused users to accidentally deactivate the alarm clock while they were sleeping.
Additionally, it gets the same 21 new emojis that were introduced in iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4. The update also gives users new ways to track sleep with Sleep Stages and introduces a low-power mode to help extend battery life. For runners, the update also has improved telemetry.
You can now update your Apple Watch on the paired iPhone by going to Settings then going to General, and Software Update. You can do so as long your Watch is at least 50% charged and connected to the charger.
