Samsung’s largest camera sensor to date, the ISOCELL GN2, is expected to be featured in Google’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Google Pixel 8 Pro.

For a quick refresher, the ISOCELL GN2 was launched by Samsung 2 years ago and it features a 1/1.12-inch sensor with a 50MP resolution. The sensor’s pixel size measures 1.4μm, which can increase to 2.8μm with a 4-in-1 pixel binning process.

- 8K videos at 30fps
- 4k videos at 120fps
- 1080p videos at 480fps
- Dual Pixel Pro autofocus
