Xiaomi has just revealed the sensors of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Spoiler, it will have a 50MP Sony IMX989 main sensor. Yes, it is the same sensor used in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra Sensors Revealed
The Sony IMX989 though is confirmed to be joined by three 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors. The poster outlines some advanced noise-reduction features and improved HDR.
This means we’ll get to see the Sony IMX858 in action for the ultrawide lens as well as the 3x telephoto and 5x telephoto cameras.
This is definitely exciting news from Xiaomi and is already shaping up to be living up to its Ultra moniker. The wait isn’t too long now until we officially see the Xiaomi 13 Ultra as it will debut on April 18.
