Nokia XR21 Launched in Europe with IP69K Rating

HMD Global has unveiled its latest rugged smartphone, the Nokia XR21 which is powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC.

Nokia XR21 Details

The XR21 is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus for drop protection as well as has a MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP69K rating. The last of which assures that the device is dust-tight and is able to handle close-range high-pressure, high-temperature spray downs. As far as numbers go, it is said to survive temperatures from -20°C to 55°C and water jets set to 100 bar at 80°C.

The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The company promises four years of security updates and three OS updates to Android 16. The phone, with its power-efficient SoC and 4800mAh battery, is said to last up to 2 days without charge with minimal usage.

The Nokia XR21 has a starting price of EUR 599 (around PHP 37,000) and will be available in other markets, including the US.

However, HMD Global has not disclosed the pricing or availability details for the US market.
