Nvidia just announced the RTX 4060 series graphics cards, weeks ahead of the rumored Computex 2023 launch. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 GPUs are aimed at 1080p gaming and are set to replace last-gen’s RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards. Starting at $299, the Ada Lovelace-powered RTX 4060 family will go head with AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 7600 series.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
According to Nvidia, the RTX 4060 Ti is on average 2.6x faster than the RTX 2060 SUPER and up to 1.7x faster than the RTX 3060 Ti GPU on games that have DLSS and DLFG. For titles that don’t have frame generation, the RTX 4060 Ti is up to 1.6x faster than the RTX 2060 SUPER. and 1.15x than the RTX 3060 Ti.
Nvidia’s focus for the RTX 4060 Ti is its L2 Cache as it reduces demands on the GPU’s memory interface, ultimately improving performance and power efficiency. The RTX 4060 Ti’s memory subsystem features 32MB of L2 cache and 8GB or 16GB of ultra-high-speed GDDR6 memory. The RTX 4060 has 24MB of L2 cache with 8GB of GDDR6.

Nvidia RTX 4060 has an 8GB VRAM with a 24MB L2 cache. The RTX 4060 has a much lower TDP of 115W compared to the RTX 3060 at 170W.
When will the RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 be available?
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will be available starting May 24 with a launch price of $399 US or Php 27,530. Meanwhile, the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB variant will be available sometime in July, starting at $499 US. Lastly, the RTX 4060 is set to launch also in July with a price tag of $299 US. Only the RTX 4060 Ti will have a Founders Edition design which will be available at NVIDIA.com and select retailers. Custom board designs will be available from Nvidia AIBs such as ASUS, Colorful, Gainward, GALAX, GIGABYTE, INNO3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY, and ZOTAC.
