New Smart Postpaid customers now have the option to select their desired mobile number when signing up for a plan, but it comes at a significant cost.
Smart Postpaid Lets You Choose
You can now enjoy this new offering for SIM-only plans and those that come with devices. If you happen to be interested, the option is available for plans starting from the Smart Signature 599 up to the Signature Plan 2499 (which comes with unlimited data).
After picking your preferred subscription plan, you can opt to use a normally generated number or the “Special Numbers” option. The Special Numbers option allows you to input a number and choose a phone number that begins with, contains, or ends with the number you inputted.
By choosing the special numbers option the customer will be asked to pay PHP 15,000 for it, which is a pretty heavy price for most.
You can access the Special Numbers feature when applying for a Smart Postpaid plan through the telco’s official website or physical stores across the country.
