TECNO Mobile has just unveiled the TECNO Camon 20 series comprised of four devices namely the TECNO Camon 20, 20 Pro, 20 Pro 5G, and 20 Premier 5G.

The TECNO Camon 20 series share the 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 32MP front sensor, 8GB RAM, and a 5000mAh battery but differ especially in chipset and cameras.

The Camon 20 Premier 5G is the top-specced device of the series and at the center of it is its camera setup around the back. It is equipped with a 50MP main RGBW camera with a 23mm f/1.8 lens and OIS. This is accompanied by a 108MP 13mm f/2.2 ultrawide camera which doubles as a macro lens.

Rounding out the rear camera module are a 2MP depth snapper and a laser AF sensor.

Under the hood, it has the new Dimensity 8050 and is among the first to feature the new chipset from MediaTek. The chipset is coupled with 8GB RAM and 512GB of storage.

TECNO Camon 20, 20 Pro, and 20 Pro 5G

The three remaining devices in the TECNO Camon 20 series are pretty similar with minor changes in the rear camera department and major differences in their chipsets.

The vanilla Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro share the rear camera module comprised of a 64MP main sensor accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and QVGA lens. Meanwhile, the 20 Pro 5G shares the same 64MP main camera and 2 MP macro lens as its siblings but now offers OIS on the main lens. The 5G variant also replaces the QVGA lens with a 2MP depth sensor.

As far as chipsets go, here’s how they pair up:

The trio all come with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard.

Another difference lies between the vanilla and Pro variants with the vanilla offering a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and its Pro counterparts offering the fingerprint sensor under the display.

TECNO Camon 20 Series Pricing and Availability

The TECNO Camon 20 series is arriving in Nigeria first and the devices are priced at:

  • Camon 20 Premier 5G – NGN 295,500 (around PHP 35,700)
  • Camon 20 Pro 5G – NGN 199,900 (around PHP 24,200)
  • Camon 20 Pro – NGN 155,400 (around PHP 18,800)
  • Camon 20 – NGN 133,300 (around PHP 16,100)

The TECNO Camon 20 series is confirmed to launch in different regions namely Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Southern Asia.
