At its WWDC 2023, Apple has debuted the 15-inch MacBook Air. Equipped with a powerful and efficient M2 chip, a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina Display, up to 18 hours of battery life, the company dubs this as the best 15-inch laptop on the market.

“We are thrilled to introduce the world’s first 15-inch MacBook Air. Its remarkable performance and stunning design make it the best 15-inch laptop on the market. This achievement is only possible with Apple’s silicon,” said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. “From the expansive Liquid Retina display and slim, fanless design to the outstanding battery life and immersive six-speaker sound system, the new MacBook Air has it all.”

Dubbed as the thinnest 15-inch in the world, the new MacBook Air weighs 3.3 pounds and is only 11.5mm thin. And despite its compact design, you still get MagSafe charging, two Thunderbolt ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It boasts a high-resolution 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness and supports 1 billion colors for sharp text and punchy colors.

The 15-inch MacBook Air is powered by the M2 chip, which is 12 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air and twice as fast as the best-selling 15-inch PC laptop with a Core i7 processor. All while still offering up to 18 hours of battery life. You get an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, as well as a 16-core Neural Engine. The M2 Chip also supports up to 24GB of fast unified memory.

Other features include a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and a six-speaker sound system which offers deeper bass and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. It runs macOS Ventura.

The 15-inch MacBook Air comes in four colors – Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray, and Silver, and starts at PHP 82,990 for 256GB of storage, and PHP 94,990 for 512GB of storage.
