In a report, Cebu Pacific ensures lawmakers that they are taking passenger concerns seriously and that they have started addressing the said issues.

In a statement by the airline’s communication team, they said that they are aware of the Congressional resolutions sent by the House of Representatives following the recent Senate hearing and said that they are already implementing measures to support affected customers.

This statement came a few hours after Congressman Rufus Rodriguez (Cagayan De Oro 2nd District Rep.) confirmed that he filed a resolution to suspend the airline’s congressional franchise over the issues regarding offloading and poor service.

The congressman said that the airline’s unsatisfactory service has been causing a lot of delayed flights, rebooking, and other issues that cause the customers to pay extra fees giving the impression that the airline company is only focused on getting more money from its customers rather than improving its services.

“We look forward to sharing these with our lawmakers in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration so that the industry can continue to contribute its share to the overall effort in accelerating tourism and economic growth in our country. We remain committed to providing access to safe, affordable, and reliable flights to all our passengers,” Cebu Pacific said.
