Lexar showcased its complete product line ranging from memory cards, flash drives, CF cards, card readers, SSDs, and memory modules at Computex 2023. The highlight of Lexar’s booth is the recently announced Lexar Ares RGB DDR5 Desktop Memory module and the Lexar NM790 M.2 2280 PCIE Gen 4×4 SSD.
Lexar Ares RGB DDR5 Memory
The Lexar Ares RGB DDR5 desktop memory modules are the brand’s first DDR5 memory modules inspired by the ARES RGB DDR4 memory. The ARES DDR5 memory will come in speeds of 5200 MT/s, 5600 MT/s, and 6000 MT/s in a 32GB(2x16GB) kit. Timings for the ARES DDR5 are either CL32-36-36-68 or CL34-38-38-76 depending on the kit. The Lexar Ares RGB DDR5 will support both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO.

Boasting twice the speed of PCIe Gen3 SSDs and up to 40% less power consumption than DRAM cache-enabled PCIe Gen4 SSDs, the Lexar NM790 Gen 4 SSD is perfect for both works and play with exceptional performance reaching up to 7400MB/s read and 6500MB/s write speeds. Its compatibility with desktop computers, laptops, and the PlayStation 5 makes it a versatile choice. The Lexar NM790 Gen 4 SSD will be available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities starting in June 2023.
