Motorola has just announced its next-generation foldables, Motorola Razr 40 and 40 Ultra, in China.
Both phones have IP52 water-resistant coating and are made from 7000-series aluminum. however, the vanilla has a slightly thicker body.
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra
This foldable device provides the user the freedom to put anything on the cover screen and it also boasts a 3.6-inch panel which makes it the largest external display in the market to date.
The Razr 40 Ultra features a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED 165Hz refresh rate internal display which is powered by a 3,800mAh battery with 30W wired charging.

Motorola Razr 40
Next up is the Razr 40 which features the same internal display with a much more modest 144Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a smaller 1.5-inch external display.
Another difference from the Ultra model is its Snapgdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage with a larger 4,200mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

The Razr 40 vanilla is priced at CNY 3,999 (around PHP 32,000) for the base 8 + 128GB model and CNY 4,699 (around PHP 38,000) for the 12 + 256GB variant and will be on sale on June 25.
