Nothing Phone (1) and (2) and Nothing OS 2.0
NothingOS 2.0 will be based on Android 13, and the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will run on it, out of the box. It is also the next major iteration of the company’s Android skin after the current Nothing OS 1.5 version.
According to rumors, Nothing’s software team started almost entirely from the beginning to design NothingOS 2.0, so it piques our interest.
It’s good to see that Nothing Phone (1) users will get the new version, albeit about a month and a half after the launch of the Phone (2).
Speaking of the Phone (2) it is confirmed to launch on July 11 and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will also receive 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches from launch.
