TECNO Mobile has just revealed the TECNO Pova 5 series comprised of the Pova 5 and Pova 5 Pro. The former is the first device to be unveiled and it comes with a Free Fire Special Edition in collaboration with Garena.
TECNO Pova 5
The TECNO Pova 5 is built around a 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a higher refresh rate 120Hz compared to the 90Hz of the Pova 4. It has a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth camera in the back and an 8MP front lens.
Under the hood, it shares the same chipset, the MediaTek Helio G99 coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It also draws power from a 6000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. This is supported by Battery Lab 3.0 software for endurance and STS Secure Battery technology to aid with longevity.
The Free Fire Edition of the device will come in a box with the Garena battle royale game as the main theme. It will also come with Free Fire stickers and themes.

TECNO Mobile has yet to reveal the pricing for the TECNO Pova 5 but it has confirmed that it will be coming to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
The Pova 5 may likely arrive in the Philippines as its predecessors were also introduced here. If it does make it here, we expect it to maintain a sub-PHP 10,000 price tag.
The company also revealed the Pova Neo 3 which brings a 6.82-inch IPS LCD panel with a HD+ panel and a MediaTek Helio G85 coupled with 4/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Additionally, it has a 16MP main rear camera and an 8MP front sensor. But the main highlight of the device is the massive 7000mAh battery.
