After the teasers, Nothing officially introduced the black color option for the Nothing Ear (2) along with new updates for the Nothing X app and the Nothing Ear (stick).
Nothing Ear (2) Black and Other Updates
Nothing previously introduced the black variant of the Ear (1) many months after its launch. This is pretty much the same case for the second iteration of the company’s true-wireless earbuds. Similarly, it is just a colorway option retaining all the features like LHDC 2.0, ANC, and the price.
The company has revealed that it will initially be available in limited quantities via the official website, but it will be made available in a wider release in a couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, the company also announced Noise Reduction for the Ear (Stick), giving its users a way to lessen the distractions around them.
Lastly, the company revealed version 2.3.0 for its Nothing X app which introduces Advanced EQ for both the Ear (2) and Ear (stick) and a few other optimizations along with the aforementioned Noise Reduction.
With the new Advanced EQ, you will be able to further customize the sound of both TWS earbuds by offering an 8-band EQ with Q factor and frequency control. Additionally, you can create multiple profiles for different genres. These can be shared with your friends via QR codes.
