ZTE nubia has just announced that the RedMagic 8S Pro will be brought to the global market on July 18, 2023. This comes after it was first launched in China last week along with the RedMagic 8S Pro+.

The company confirmed that the global variant will carry over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version. This is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The SoC is also confirmed to be cooled by the company’s ICE 12.0 Cooling System.
If the global variant of the 8S Pro, it means we can expect features like a 6.8-inch 120Hz BOE AMOLED panel, 80W fast charging, 50MP triple rear camera, and a 16MP under-display front camera.
The RedMagic 8S Pro will be unveiled on July 18, 2023 at 8 AM EST or 8 PM Philippine Time. We expect the company to tease more of the gaming phone’s features but we don’t think it will differ much from the China version.
A better question though is if it will arrive in Philippine shores especially with ZTE being a bit more active in the Philippines recently.
