Well, just like that, the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro is now official. No teasers, no hyping up. Just a big straight up surprise. While the look is still lightly inspired by the Mate 50 Pro, there are notable differences.

As for the design, well, it still uses a rounded camera module, but there is now a different finish for a good portion of the lower half, separated by a curved line. The top section is glass if you get the white or green colors, and faux leather if you choose the purple and black variants.

HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro Specifications

HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro boasts a 6.82-inch Full HD+ 10-bit LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and is protected by 2nd gen Kunlun Glass. The company is yet to confirm what chip powers the device, but it will come with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

For optics, it’s got a 50MP main camera with OIS and PDAF, along with variable aperture feature, a 12MP ultrawide unit, a 48MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 13MP selfie snapper, joined by a 3D ToF sensor and other sensors for 3D face mapping and Face ID.

The device is the first to run HarmonyOS 4.0 and houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 88W wired fast-charging, 50W wireless charging. Other features include Satellite Calling and 20W Reverse Wireless Charging.

As for pricing, HUAWEI is also yet to unveil the full details, but the 512GB variant will cost CNY 6,999 or almost PHP 54,500 when directly converted without taxes, etc.
