Apple has usually unveiled its latest iPhone series in September. The iPhone 14 series was introduced on September 7 last year. According to a report by 9to5Mac, the trend will continue this year with the reported launch of the iPhone 15 series on September 13.
iPhone 15 Series Rumors
Apple has, unsurprisingly, yet to mention anything about its latest iPhone series but this hasn’t stopped rumors to surface.
Among these include a tip on the chipset the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max will use. The vanilla variant and its Plus sibling are rumored to have an Apple A16 Bionic chip, while its Pro siblings are said to be powered by the A17 Bionic chipset.
The new series is also expected to feature a USB Type-C port and all three models are said to have the Dynamic Island feature. The former is a first for any iPhone series, while the latter was only featured on the iPhone 14 Pro models.
Again, Apple has yet to reveal the exact date for the launch event of the iPhone 15 series, so do take the information with a grain of salt.
