The invites sent out mention that the company will “introduce the latest additions to our Pixel portfolio devices.” This could hint that in addition to the Pixel 8 series the company will unveil the Pixel Watch 2.

As far as leaks go, the Pixel 8 series is expected to debut alongside the Tensor G3 chipset. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to have a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a triple rear camera setup, and at least 12GB RAM. The triple rear setup is said to be comprised of a 50MP main with OIS, a 64MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto lens.

The Pro is also said to have a larger 4950mAh battery with 27W wired charging, while the vanilla is believed to come with a 4485mAh cell with support for 24W wired and 12W wireless charging.

The Made by Google event is set to take place in New York City on October 4 at 10 AM EST (10 PM, Philippine Time). We expect to learn more about the devices set to launch either officially or unofficially as we have a little over a month to go.
