Xiaomi has announced that along with the Mix Fold 3, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and Band 8 Pro, the company will introduce the Redmi K60 Ultra at its August 14 launch event.

The company, via its Redmi Weibo account, has already confirmed quite a lot of the device’s specs and it’s already looking to be quite an impressive device.

Among these include the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset coupled with up to a whopping 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The 24GB RAM alone already makes it the first non-gaming smartphone to offer that much RAM.

The Redmi K60 Ultra will also be released with a 1.5K (1220p) resolution panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. This, however, is quite interesting because the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro offer a 1440p panel.

Rounding out the specs are a triple rear camera with at least a 50MP main lens. This is believed to be joined by an ultrawide snapper and a 2MP lens, either for depth or macro shots. Based on the teasers as well, it will come with at least two colorways, black and what looks like an olive green option.

Ram found his love and appreciation for writing in 2015 having started in the gaming and esports sphere for GG Network. He would then transition to focus more on the world of tech which has also began his journey into learning more about this world. That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
