Leaks and mentions of the TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G, TECNO Mobile’s first clamshell foldable smartphone have been everywhere recently, ahead of any official announcement. Now, the device was spotted on the Google Play Console, confirming some of its specs ahead of an official announcement.

The TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G according to its listing has a MediaTek MT6893Z chipset which is better known as the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset with at least 8GB RAM. It is also revealed to have an FHD+ panel with a 480 dpi density on the panel and runs on Android 13 out of the box.

This is pretty substantial information that is also confirmed on the clamshell device.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the device will come with a 6.75-inch AMOLED inner panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 32MP front camera. Around the back, it is believed to have a 64MP main rear sensor and a 13MP ultrawide snapper.

Reports have also mentioned a 3900mAh dual-cell battery divided into 1165mAh and 2735mAh. This is expected to charge at 66W fast charging.

TECNO Mobile has yet to reveal anything on the TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G. This includes the device name and the exact launch date. However, it was previously teased to debut in Q3 2023.
