OpenAI has recently announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) account that ChatGPT can now browse the internet to offer more current, authoritative, and accurate information.

The new internet browsing feature will come in handy for tasks that require up-to-date information like planning a trip or doing research. The chatbot will also give you direct links to its source. Previously, it was only limited to data before September 2021.
To enable this feature, choose Browse with Bing in the selector under GPT-4.
The feature is now available to Plus and Enterprise users today but the company clarified that it will be rolled out to all users soon.
