Huawei has just unveiled the latest member in the Mate 60 series – the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ with improved hardware compared to its siblings.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro+
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is built around the same 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate as the Pro device but the Plus variant has an improved resolution at 2720x1260p. The Pro+ also has a 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The panel is also protected with second-generation Kunlun Glass and houses a 13MP front camera accompanied by two 3D ToF sensors.
Around the back, it has a 48MP main sensor with OIS and a variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0. This is accompanied by a 48MP periscope lens and an upgraded 40MP ultrawide sensor. Its siblings are equipped with 12MP ultrawide snappers.
The processor is undisclosed but it is said to have the 7nm Kirin 9000s chipset under the hood.
The Mate 60 Pro+ supports two-way messaging via the BeiDou network and voice calls over the Tiantong satellite in China. It also is rated IP68 which allows it to last 30 minutes at 6m depth.
Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an IR blaster. Additionally, it supports LDAC and L2HC codecs.
