It’s official, iOS 17 is now available for download for iPhones released from 2018 and later. This comes after it was announced in early June at WWDC 2023 with multiple beta tests that followed.

If you’re ready to update your iPhone, you can update by heading over to Settings > General > About > Software Update and then start downloading and installing the latest update.
In case you missed it, iOS 17 introduces new personalized Contact Posters in the Phone app as well as Live Voicemail which will offer real-time transcriptions of a voicemail. You can also leave video voicemails via FaceTime with the latest update.
Other features include:
- New Live Stickers on Messages
- NameDrop – a new way to exchange contact info with friends by tapping your iPhones
- Updated Check In
- StandBy mode while charging
- Journal app
