realme 11 Pro+ goes to Malagos

It was more than 11 years ago since I visited Davao City. Following the first leg of realme’s FanFest in Clark, the company took us to Davao City for the fan festival for the Mindanao region. One of the highlights of our trip is at Malagos Garden Resort, located at Baguio District, Davao.

The Malagos Garden Resort in Davao City, Philippines is a popular destination owned by the Puentespina family. It is known for introducing chocolate making through Malagos Chocolate and features the first chocolate museum in the country. The resort also offers unique experiences like the Malagos Chocolate Spa, which utilizes cacao husks, a byproduct of chocolate making. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the resort temporarily stopped admitting tourists in March 2020, but its farming operations continue.

Home to the Malagos Garden Resort is an aviary and 5 butterfly domes. realme gave us a holistic experience of these locations, and let us use the realme 11 Pro+ after their realme MasterShot conducted by celebrity photographer Stephen Capuchino and Davao local mentor and street photographer Miguel Lisbona.

realme 11 Pro+, Your Lens to Appreciate Malagos

One of the standout features of the realme 11 Pro+ is its camera setup. With a 200MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens at the back, as well as a 32MP front-facing camera, this device offers a versatile photography experience.

The 200MP main sensor allows for highly detailed and sharp images. Whether you’re capturing stunning landscapes or detailed close-ups, this sensor delivers exceptional results. The ultrawide lens provides a wider field of view, perfect for group shots or capturing expansive landscapes. Check these photos I took at the aviary and butterfly dome.

When it comes to portrait photography, both the front and rear cameras of the realme 11 Pro+ excel. The depth-sensing capabilities and advanced software algorithms ensure that your subject is beautifully highlighted while the background is artfully blurred. This feature truly adds a professional touch to your portrait shots.

If you’re a fan of telephoto photography, the realme 11 Pro+ does not disappoint. With its impressive zoom capabilities, you can capture distant subjects with clarity and precision. Whether you’re photographing wildlife or capturing moments from a distance, this phone’s telephoto lens will impress you.

Low light photography is also an area where the realme 11 Pro+ shines. Thanks to its wide aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS), and gyro-Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), you can capture clear and noise-free photos even in challenging lighting conditions. The phone’s advanced night mode further enhances low light photography, ensuring you get beautiful shots without the need for additional lighting.

The realme 11 Pro+ offers a compelling camera package that delivers exceptional results. I know that the photos above cannot give justice to the actual shots we too due to compression. I encourage you to check to the phone out at the nearest realme store in your area to demo the unit. From its high-resolution main sensor to its versatile lens options, this phone is a good choice for photography enthusiasts and casual users alike.

Check out our full review of the realme 11 Pro+ here. In my review, I said that realme 11 Pro+ is a great device that offers excellent value for its price. Despite using a slightly less powerful chipset, its battery management system is impressive. The phone features exceptional camera capabilities, particularly in portrait and landscape photography.

Apart from the realme 11 Pro+, you can also check out the realme 11 Pro 5G. The latter and the realme 11 Pro+ 5G are priced at PHP 19,999 and PHP 24,999, respectively.
