DJI has officially announced the Osmo Pocket 3, the company’s latest pocket-sized gimbal camera, after three years. The latest Pocket camera includes a 1-inch sensor, a rotating display, and a three-axis mechanical stabilization.

The Osmo Pocket 3 has a 1-inch CMOS sensor that offers improved image quality even in dimmer settings. Moreover, it is capable of shooting 4K videos at 120fps.
It has specialized image quality optimization that allows it to capture low-light scenes to life with clarity and authentic color. Additionally, it is able to fine-tune the exposure for different skin tones.
The camera also offers 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes for those looking to produce more professional-level works.
The Pocket 3 boasts a 2-inch full-color OLED rotatable touchscreen which allows you to switch between horizontal or vertical video capturing, making it a more versatile camera for content creators.
It boasts improved intelligent features like ActiveTrack 6.0, Product Showcase, and Glamour Effects 2.0. ActiveTrack 6.0 now has face auto-detection and dynamic framing to ensure the camera can keep your subject in the frame even while in motion. Meanwhile, Product Showcase helps for a smooth livestreaming experience and Glamour Effects 2.0 adds personalized beauty options.
The new pocket-sized camera also has a couple of creative modes including:
- SpinShot – 180° smooth camera movements with one hand.
- Motionlapse – capture the gorgeous and surreal flow of time
- Digital Zoom – zoom up to 4x digitally to get you closer to any shot
- Panorama – sweeping landscapes for a complete image
DJI claims that a fully charged Pocket 3 will offer up to 116 minutes of 4K/60fps video or up to 166 minutes of 1080p/24fps video.
