Samsung has just shared some info regarding the Exynos 2400, its upcoming flagship chipset, during the System LSI Tech Day event that was held in San Jose, California.
Exynos 2400 Chipset
Samsung’s upcoming flagship chipset, as stated by the company, is said to boast a 1.7x CPU and 14.7x AI performance boost(compared to the Exynos 2200) and will feature an Xclipse 940 GPU on AMD RDNA 3 architecture, offering improved mobile ray tracing, shadow rendering, and global illumination.
Moreover, the Exynos 2400 is reported to feature a 10-core CPU with ARMv9 architecture, clocked at 3.1GHz and 2.9GHz, with 3x Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8GHz.
Other expected features include
- May have support for LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage
- Supports up to 320MP camera
- 8K video recording at 60 fps thanks to custom ISP
- 5G connectivity w/ Narrowband IoT, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and satellite communication
For now, we can only wait for more information from the manufacturer but the upcoming flagship chipset may power the Galaxy S24 series when it comes out.
