GCash has just introduced its new GCash Card which you can use for a variety of things like paying at physical stores locally and internationally and withdrawing cash at ATMs.

GCash Card

The GCash Card is a VISA prepaid debit card that you can apply via the GCash app and it is linked to your GCash account/wallet. It is available to fully verified GCash users and costs PHP 185 + PHP 65 for a delivery fee.

With the card you can pay at any of the 35.9 million merchants in 210 countries and 150 currencies as well as withdraw from any affiliated BancNet ATMs nationwide and Card ATMs worldwide.

To apply for a GCash Card:

  1. Open your GCash app
  2. Tap View all
  3. Tap Cards
  4. Select “Order GCash Card”
  5. Tap “Order a Card”
  6. Select your delivery method
  7. Review the card details and tap Next
  8. Complete the required information and tap Next
  9. Tap Pay
  10. A prompt will then appear that your order is successful

The delivery time depends on where you are in the Philippines. Here are the expected delivery times:

  • NCR – 4-6 business days
  • Luzon – 6-8 business days
  • Visayas and Mindanao – 8-10 business days

You will be updated about your delivery through SMS updates.

If you’re interested in withdrawing cash via ATM, the daily transaction limit is PHP 40,000 and PHP 20,000 per single transaction. Additionally, your 6-digit GCash card PIN works as your ATM PIN. You also have the option to withdraw your cash via GCash Partner Outlets.

Do note that there will be an ATM withdrawal fee of PHP 10-18 and an ATM Balance Inquiry Fee of PHP 0-2.50.
