NTC’s valued clients, which include telecommunications and internet providers, can now easily pay their fees online thanks to the National Telecommunications Commission’s new website, powered by Maya, a top payment service provider in the Philippines.
Called the NTC Online Processing System with Digital Payment System (NTC OPS-DPS), this website aims to make it faster and simpler for telecommunications and internet companies to get licenses, permits, certificates, authorizations, and clearances.
“This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to simplify payments for telecom and internet providers, making transactions more accessible and efficient, Maya’s innovative solutions are pivotal in achieving this goal.”
– Ella Blanca Lopez, NTC Commissioner

Maya also serves as the country’s leading digital bank, providing various ways to make payments, including digital wallets and credit cards. For online payments, the NTC OPS-DPS website now uses the Maya Checkout payment gateway, allowing the NTC to accept Maya, QR PH, and other digital wallet payments.
“We’re thrilled to work with the NTC to promote Ease of Doing Business among government agencies through digital payments. Our collaboration with the NTC reflects our commitment to providing all stakeholders an all-in-one digital banking and payment experience.”
– Peter Cruz, Maya Head of Enterprise
This initiative directly responds to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s mandate to use digital technologies to simplify business transactions with government offices in the Philippines.
Telecommunications and internet providers can now complete online transactions using digital payments through the NTC OPS-DPS website, avoiding long lines and waiting times. Digitizing and automating payment collection for government agencies ultimately leads to better public service.
The NTC’s inclusion in Maya’s efforts to streamline government payments means more convenience for citizens.
