OPPO has officially announced the rollout of the global version of ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. Some of the highlights of the latest ColorOS version include an optimized Aquamorphic Design and new smart features, to name a few.

What’s new with ColorOS 14?
The company upgraded the Trinity Engine which enhances the smartphone’s smoothness and stability by focusing on ROM Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and CPU Vitalization. Here’s what they do:
- ROM Vitalization – compresses app and file date and can save up to 20GB of storage
- RAM Vitalization – can accelerate memory performance to boost multi-app efficiency and keep more applications alive in the background
- CPU Vitalization – schedules power resources while determining the best balance between performance and power consumption
Additionally, the latest version ColorOS features Smart Charging which is an AI algorithm that can automatically adjust the charging based on the smartphone’s usage status.
Other new smart features include Smart Touch, Smart Image Matting, and more.
OPPO also painted the status bar and on-screen content with the Aquamorgraphic Colouring system based on the time of the due.
Additionally, the company added a new Go Green style to the Always on Display. There’s also the option to use a Bitmoji sticker that will update throughout the day based on where you are, what you’re doing, the weather, and more.
As far as security and privacy go, Picture Keeper now adds extra permission to access selected photos and videos.
What is the schedule of the global version of ColorOS 14?
The company revealed the timeline for the global beta version of the Android 14-based ColorOS version. It started in October 2023 with the OPPO Find X5 Pro, Find X5, and Reno10 Pro+ 5G.
At the bottom of this list are the Reno8 Z 5G, F21s Pro 5G, and A96 5G in April 2024.
